Ciboria is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit corporation, founded in 2006, and our board of directors include Park Goodman, Matthew LaBeau, Linda Mahr, Rita Miles, Mary Rahn and Kristen Wester.

Our Mission

Our goal is the fostering of local sustainability through communally shared practices, resources and unique approaches.  These will assist communities to grow healthy and fresh food year round, put in place innovative energy solutions and encourage people to take moral responsibility for the environment in which we live while developing deeper bonds with nature.

Our Methodology

We currently are using the combined grants, resources and funds of our nonprofit organization,  the City of Livingston and the citizens, to establish the community greenhouse and garden and, eventually, a food  producing park.  Partnering with Montana Wind Works LLC, we are developing wind farm installations in seven small communities in Montana.

Our Values

Since we care about our community, and since our experience has shown the value of fresh, organic, local and particularly live food in the role of better health, we seek to make this information and the means to attain such food available to all.  We also wish to benefit local communities through projects related to food supply, energy production and new technologies while re-connecting us with our natural surrounding environment.
